INTRODUCTION

It was 1999 when three 15 year old boys, Star Wars's fans, began to shot a video for fun. They didn't knew that this shot was only a beginning of a long sequence pf projects that they brought until today.
In 1999 The New Empire was born, an amatorial production company specialized in editing video and special effects.
The first video produced by TNE was called "EPISODE VII - Revenge of the Sith" (you don't believe but it'so) and it could be considered the first of all projects, a simple editing and special effects proof, that, day by day, gave the possibility to improve, to achieve a better level, going to be almost professional.
Actually TNE has done many works, in associations with much realities of Italian Fandom.: two editing-training and visual effects fanfilm, shots in 1999 (EP7-Revenge of the Sith) and in 2001-2002 (Episode 0 - Dark Side's Revelation), "A Fans Life" and "Sith Training" in collaboration with Guerrestellari.net, and a "simil fanfilm", with function of introduction at the interview with David Prowse (Darth Vader in Star Wars original Trilogy) during Yavincon 2004 Convention, in association with Yavin 4 and Imperial Crawn Alliance. TNE has made many videos and promos about Italian Star Wars's fandom, a lot of Episode 3 promotional videos Episodio III (played at Lazise Movie Studios) and the famous TNE Promotion Video , played with extreme success at Yavincon 2004. At the end, we have last work: the introduction video to Yavincon 2005.

THE PROJECT

Now, six years later, powered by Union Force , TNE has restarting the project, modified and enlarged with a low, but constant, pre-production, that is the most complicated part of this ambitious film.
The entire story is divided into three chapters, to facilitate the vision and to have more time for post-production.
Shootings are located in Liguria (Taggia and Sanremo) at TNE headquarter, but the group is formed by guys from all parts of Italy.
The three chapters will be shot only with an experience technology, Sony™'s HDV (High Definition Video) , the maximum way to video quality (George Lucas himself uses this kind of technology). This fanfilm disposes of a Greenscreen set , essential to create visual effects: it's a system that allows to modified a coloured background with a CG background.

Costumes are all hand-sewn, while armors and helmets are been modified intentionally for the shootings. Lightsabers and objects are all hand-made with a filming dimostration on webdocs, avalaibles on site.
For post-production, will be used all the best professional programs for audio/video editing, for visual effects and 3d animation like Adobe After EffectsVegas 6 and 3D Studio Max.

IN THE END

These three fanfilms would be an hypothetic vision of an utopian sequels of Star Wars Saga, but they are in an independent way in the universe of this great Saga, a dream for many generations.
It's a way to make dreams come true and following them, moments by moments.
